Most people who are involved in a dispute relating to land or property know what they want. Sometimes this can be achieved by a legal ruling, but on other occasions that may not be possible and the desired result has to be sought by indirect legal means. These means may at first be far from obvious.
One cannot over-stress the importance of thinking very carefully before setting out on any action in a property dispute. In the words of the old Russian saying, “measure your cloth seven times, because you can cut it only once”.
